Meet Results: 2023 Brighton Forest at Park @ West Lake
The first swim meet of 2023 is in the books and it was a close one! It was a great start to what we hope is the beginning of a new rivalry. Congratulations to all of our swimmers! Thank you again to everyone who helped to make it happen.

Please be aware that there were some challenges with the first meet. It may mean that your swimmer does not receive the ribbon that they feel they earned. Park @ West Lake is still adapting to new rules changes and technology that is used to administer the meets and sometimes the best laid plans go awry. Stress was had. Adjustments were made. Lessons were learned. The Park @ West Lake volunteers worked hard to correct everything they could. Luckily, we came out on top. But we understand any frustration you or your swimmers may feel if the ribbons or times don't reflect the outcome you witnessed.
Only the main event times were recorded for the purpose of final results. We are working on entering times for the exhibition swimmers but those will come later. The primary focus was on calculating a final score that could be submitted to TSA. Second to that is awarding ribbons for main events. All exhibition swimmers should have already received their ribbons during the meet. Main event ribbons will be handed out at an upcoming practice, once they are in our possession. Again, we are sorry for any discrepancies. But please remember that everyone is a volunteer and they are doing their best. Mistakes happen and Park @ West Lake could use our support and empathy.
