Meet Results: 2023 Brighton Forest at Weldon Ridge
Another swim meet that came down to the wire! Thank you to all of the swimmers, volunteers, and families for enduring a less-than-ideal night. Congratulations to the swimmers for persevering through it all. We all would have loved to come out on top, but it's a testament to all of you that you performed so well under those circumstances.
All of the following information can be found on the Past Events page. You can click that link or find it by going to Meet Schedule and clicking the Past Events link near the top. Find the Weldon Ridge meet and scroll to where all of the post-meet results are located.

We have recently updated our Meet Policies and added an FAQ. These pages answer the vast majority of questions that come up each season. We would like to ask that everyone review them if you haven't already.
One question from the FAQ page that we would like to draw your attention to is "When can my family leave?" We ask that everyone check with the coaches before leaving the meet to be sure that their swimmer is done. The coaches were forced to scratch a late relay when one of the swimmers could not be found. As it turns out, that relay was the difference between a loss and a tie. In some cases, like our first swim meet, the score is so close that simply being present and swimming the relay can guarantee a win instead of a loss.
Last night was a tough situation because of the weather and travel distance, as well as middle school EOGs. It happens. And it's just a swim meet. But we would like to use this as an opportunity to remind you to take a few extra seconds to talk with the coaches before you leave. This will at least give the coaching staff an opportunity to find a replacement to ensure the best possible team outcome. Those relays are especially important in terms of the team score.
